Departing 3 April 2026 and returning 10 May 2026, the 57ft (17.4m) Bowman yacht Helen Mary R will undertake a continuous 40-day voyage covering roughly 1,000 nautical miles with a single complement of eight young crew aged 14–18 aboard for the entire passage. The yacht, built by the Rona Sailing Project in 1986 and operated by Morvargh Sailing Project of Fowey, will sail under the ASPIRE40 banner around the English Channel, visiting France, the Channel Islands, southern England and London.
